# How to edit your event's details

When you create an event on Nftikets you are required to provide the name, date, venue and time of the event. You may also decide to add a short and/or long description of the event and upload an image, which may simply be a picture of the venue or an e-flier, for the event you are creating.

You can edit or delete any event you may have created earlier on Nftikets.

**Note**: you can only edit an event if it is a free event or if no one has purchased the tickets to the paid event.

### How to edit an event on Nftikets

* **Step 1**: Go to <https://nftikets.io/> and log in to your account.

* **Step 2**: On your dashboard go to **Events** and select **My Event** on the drop-down menu.

* **Step 3**: Next, open the **My Event** tab to view all the events you’ve created.&#x20;
* **Step 4**: Go to the event you wish to make changes on and click **Edit**.&#x20;
* **Step 5**: Make changes to your event and tap **Save Changes**.
